This just in! Apparently spending years traveling back and forth from a war zone where you spend most of your time wondering if that kid next to you wants a hug or is about to blow up is bad for you.
So says Reuters.
I mean, this doesn't seem like really shocking news to me. It reminds me of another article i read recently claiming that U.S. troop suicides are reaching all-time highs.
From the article at CNN:
"Every day, five U.S. soldiers try to kill themselves. Before the Iraq war began, that figure was less than one suicide attempt a day."
Awesome.
Also of note, when you Google U.S. Troop Suicide up, this is the first story.
Fun times with the American nightmare, eh?
