Holy shit, I just saw this on MSNBC and I was twitching in my seat in discomfort. It made me sick to see this smarmy, loudmouthed, asshole try to yell his way out of a debate.
This has nothing to do with political affiliation. It's just a young jerk who has no respect for the art of intelligent conversation and disagreement.
Say what you will about the politics of a Pat Buchanan or a Keith Olberman, they know what they are talking about and they know to shut up when their opponent tries to make a point.
This guy just doesn't let up and makes his side look bad. I hope his career in news media is finished after being exposed for the con man and punchline puppet he is.
BTW rupey, I am pissed you posted on this. I was sure, I would get to the key board first this time! Don't you like have work to do or something. Leave some scraps for the rest of us yo! Great job finding the video so quick man. You make me proud.
Chris Matthews actually tells us what "hardball" means. Nice post.
Just to be fair - Chris was confused abt the time period of the USS Cole thing - listen to his voice coming over the video feed of the James guys face towards the end of the interview.

However, to be fair, this guy acted like an idiot. He was rude an overbearing and repeatedly tried to hide his ignorance by shouting. I can imagine Chris' assistant wave him off in the backgroun when he said what he did (or maybe he realised it himself) and he immediately owed up to his ignorance.
